Karen Fisher

Karen Fisher has long been respected for her approach to design—simple and accessible, yet sophisticated and refined. She is inspired by the delicate, functional style of her mother’s Japanese roots, (hence the company’s name, after her grandmother Sachiko) and the more traditional, formal side of her father’s British heritage. Karen creates spaces that are both beautiful and livable for years to come.

Before turning to interior design, Karen was a student of architecture. She has a strong understanding of structure, proportion and building, which affect all aspects of a project. With 20 years of experience, she has the talent and know-how to ensure a seamless transition from a construction site to a finished home with curtains on the windows and a sofa to curl up on.
